About the Opportunity
IMT Precision has an exciting opportunity for full-time Inventory Coordinator roles, based in Ingersoll, ON. We operate with two primary shift patterns, offering flexibility as long as they meet the organization's needs:
- Full-time midnight (11:30 PM to 7:30 AM) and afternoon shifts (3:30 PM to 11:30 PM).
- A 4/10 shift schedule that includes days, afternoons, and midnights.
Reporting to the Materials Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining precise control over inventory processes.
In this position, you will be primarily responsible for managing and optimizing all aspects related to inventory, ensuring operational continuity and efficiency.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring inventory levels as materials are issued and transferred within locations
- Using manual or computerized systems to compile inventory reports and support the inventory turns/pulls into production operations
- Replenishing materials and maintaining optimal stock levels
- Ensuring proper stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) methods
- Entering data for inventory adjustments and reconciling physical inventories with computer counts
- Responding quickly to material flow concerns within the plant and among subcontractors
- Entering Cycle Count journals in the inventory system
- Supporting production with raw material and packaging supply to operation points

More About You
To qualify, you will need 1-3+ years of experience in inventory control or a related field, with a Post-Secondary degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Registration with the Controlled Goods Program is mandatory for any person examining, possessing or transferring controlled goods in Canada. To register with the Controlled Goods Program, you must have citizenship or permanent residency.
IMT employees must meet Canadian Controlled Goods Program security requirements; therefore, it is required for you to undergo a Criminal Records Check.
The following skills and experience will be strong attributes:
- Knowledge of materials procedures
- Experience with inventory control and cycle counting
- Familiarity with warehousing, shipping, and receiving practices
- Proficiency in using both manual and computerized inventory systems
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines with frequent interruptions
- Flexibility to work additional hours per business needs
